PEONIES
Peony roots will be shipped / delivered in October. All varieties are sold with 2 - 5 eyes with some varieties also offered as a 4+ year old plant with 6 - 10 eyes. The younger roots will take 3+ years to get established fully. The older, more mature plants of 4+ years and more eyes will become established sooner. All varieties will last for decades with very little care. Deer resistant. Choose varieties flowering in early, mid and late season to have blooms for up to 7 weeks. Many make great long lasting cut flowers and some have a clean, fresh scent. Peonies prefer full sun or dappled light shade and are hardy from zone 2 (Itoh Peonies hardy from zone 3).
